FAMILY HONOR OFFERS NEW COURSE
September 20-21, 2019 | Columbia, South Carolina

Wondering how to respond to tough moral questions from your child, grandchild, or friends? Confused about current cultural issues and searching for clarity? Need continuing education? Seeking fellowship with others who desire these same things? Family Honor invites you to sign up for our new in-person weekend course, Understanding the Human Person, to be held in Columbia on Sept. 20 and 21. The course will start Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday. Your tuition includes books, Instructor feedback, and 3 meals. Co-sponsored by Family Honor and the Family Life Office of the Diocese of Charleston, adult students will receive continuing education credits from the Diocese of Charleston. Medical Mission Trip to Guatemala
September 29-October 6, 2019


Join other parishioners from around the Diocese in another life-changing mission trip to San Pedro La Laguna in Guatemala, Central America. We still have room for doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, dentists, general non- medical volunteers, and interpreters for our upcoming medical mission, from Sunday, September 29th to Sunday, October 6th, 2019. Volunteers interested in the trip pay for the airfare and a minimal fee for meals, lodging, and transportation in Guatemala. Engaged Encounter Weekend
November 16th-17th | St. Mary Magdalene Simpsonville | 

The presenting teams on an Engaged Encounter Weekend will give you a realistic view of married life, the joys, and the sorrows. We will provide the tools to help you reach your goal of a life-long marriage. The October 12 & 13 weekend at St. Michael in Murrells Inlet has been canceled. The last weekend of the year is November 16th and 17th at St. Mary Magdalene in Simpsonville. This is a nonresidential weekend, so lodging will not be provided. Retrouvaille Marriage Program Offered in South Carolina
The Retrouvaille Program helps struggling couples put the pieces of their marriage back together and rebuild loving relationships. NEW TELEVISED MASS FOR THE HOMEBOUND

The Diocese of Charleston and Catholic Extension are pleased to announce that a weekly televised Sunday Mass will begin airing on July 7. Catholic Extension will air a weekly televised Sunday Mass on WCBD, Channel 2 at 5:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Please be sure to share this news with your neighbors, friends, and family who may be sick or homebound. When you or someone you know is unable to get to church due to sickness or physical impairment, the TV Mass offers spiritual comfort and inspiration.
